The date is set. August 25th Emily and I will embark on a journey surely to make us grow as educators and individuals. Those of you reading this should not surprised by this news - at least hopefully not, but just in case anyone needs a refresher on events transpiring I will briefly fill your brain with my infinite wisdom and knowledge.

Emily and I attended the 2010 UNI Overseas Teaching Fair back in February. We went expecting very little and left with a job in Bahrain. You never know what's in store for you in these situations.

I am currently finishing my student teaching and will be gratuating in May with my MAE in Secondary Social Studies Education. The summer will be spent preparing for Bahrain and enjoying my family before I set sail until next June.

Check back for updates on the cultural challenges Emily and I will face upon landing in Bahrain. I'm sure they will bring a small amount of laughter and pity as one American, and one Brit, represent the western world in one of the most liberal countries the Middle East has to offer.
